Making a Stand!

Over a conversation with the Shailaja (facilitator), Mohammed Nihaj (3rd std Gurudwara School) told her that his parents hit him when he goes out to play and that they want him to study all the time. He is the class topper already and he is still feeling pressurized by his parents.

The facilitator asked him if he thought it was alright for his parents to hit him for this reason. He said no and also said that he did not like it at all and feels rather bad and hurt. She then asked him what he can do to make things better and he said that he can talk to his parents and try to make them understand.

That evening he spoke to his parents about how he likes to play and wants time for that. Unfortunately his patents did not pay attention to what he said. But he came back really happy haven taken the effort to do this and also being able to communicate his thoughts to his patents.
